Lot 44 – HENDRIK K TEN BRUGGENCATE OXFORD CHAMBER ORGAN
Casework: The case is in generally good condition. There are one or two splits to the door panels but nothing that detracts from the overall look of the organ.
Regarding the insides, there are signs of life. This has been plugged in and is working; although my attempts were not musical, it is still a working item.
Please note: that the stop marked ‘Quint 1 and 1 third’ is broken. The stop is present but this will need to be re-attached. There is also one of the very smallest pipes marked ‘05’ which is loose at the front and this will need to be re-inserted.
This is an interesting instrument with some rather nicely carved tracery housing the organ pipes. Just the thing for your front room!

All instrument fitted with ivory keys dating pre 1975 will be registered with DEFRA & APHA under the new ivory act 2018. All pianos dating from 1947 – 1975 with ivory keys will have an Article 10 certificate in place before it is sold.
