What You Should Know About Bösendorfer
Bösendorfer, established in 1828, were and are still made in Vienna, Austria. They are on the whole considered to be on the same level as Steinways, although their annual production is much less. Early pre 1914 grands, often with the Viennese action, do not command high prices but the pianos made in the last 50 years or so do very well in our auctions.
