A 6ft 7in Model 200 grand piano in a bright mahogany case on square tapered legs. This piano was reconditioned in c2008.
Condition Report:
LOT 88 – BÖSENDORFER MODEL 200 GRAND
Casework: Is in generally very good condition. There are one or two scratches and dings and dents but nothing of any consequence. I note that the polyester on the inner maple lining toward the back on the bass side has movement but this is not noticeable. There are also some noticeable scratches to the top lid at the back end.
Frame and Soundboard: Are in very good condition. There is very minor corrosion on the treble strings but this is having no effect whatsoever and will clean easily.
Keys and Keyboard: Is a modern plastic replacement keyboard and has been undertaken to a very good standard.
Hammers and Action: Are very good.
General Notes: This piano, as you would expect, plays wonderfully and sounds magnificent.
