Lot 35 - Morley Double Manual Harpsichord

A double manual harpsichord in a walnut crossbanded and flame mahogany panelled case, raised on a trestle base. The fascia bearing the inscription Johannes Morley London Fecit 1980; having 8 foot, 4 foot and buff stops. This instrument was commissioned by Eric Woolfson and was exhibited at the International Harpsichord Festival Bruges in 1980.

This instrument is sold with an Article 10 Certificate due to the use of ivory in the construction of the keyboard. Cert. No. 597060/01.
