• Do I need to book a viewing slot?

  Booking is recommended but not essential. Drop-ins are welcome during published viewing hours, but a booked slot guarantees a specialist will be free to walk you through the lots you are interested in and answer questions in detail.

• How long should I allow for a visit?

  Most visitors allow between 45 minutes and two hours. There is no time limit — play as many instruments as you like. Bring a friend, a teacher or your tuner if it helps. Specialists are on hand throughout.

• Can I bring a tuner or technician?

  Absolutely. Many bidders bring a piano tuner or technician to assess condition before placing a bid. There is no charge and no need to book separately. Just let us know in advance so we can have the relevant lots ready.

• Is there parking on site?

  Yes, free on-site parking at both Watford and Bodegraven. The Watford venue is a five minute walk from Watford Underground (Metropolitan line) and a ten minute walk from Watford High Street rail.

• Are the venues accessible?

  Both venues are step-free at the main entrance with accessible WCs on the ground floor. If you have any specific access requirements, please get in touch ahead of your visit and we will make sure your visit is comfortable.

• Can I view outside published days?

  Yes, by private appointment. Email us and a specialist will arrange a time that suits you. Most private viewings happen in the two weeks before a sale once the catalogue is published.
