Case designs of French pianos of the past often show a degree of craftsmanship rarely equalled.  I shudder to think how much it would cost to produce such pianos nowadays.  It also seems extraordinary how relatively cheap they are.

So, here is chance to own such a wonderful example!  We are pleased to be offering this piano in our Auction Sale of the 26th September 2019.

Pleyel (c1926)

A 6ft 2in ex-player grand piano in an ornate Louis XVI style kingwood and satinwood parquetry inlaid case on six slender turned and fluted supports.

Estimate: £3,000 – 5,000
