There were several variations of this famous Bechstein upright, which was designed in the Arts & Crafts style by the English Architect Walter Cave.  These were mostly different designs of the front board and using different wood veneers.  They all however have the distinctive candle holders rising from the leg supports like a pair of 1960’s flared trousers!  We are fortunate to have one of the nicest examples I have seen, which has been restored and has a beautiful matching stool.
