PIANO MADE FOR A KING COMES HOME

In our April 6th 2017 Auction Sale there was worldwide interest in one particular instrument - Lot 63, the Tomkison grand which was made for King George IV and once proudly stood in the Brighton Pavilion.  A bidding ‘war’ quickly developed with one overseas bidder online and one in the room.  The winning bid in the end was £62,000 and what was even nicer was that it was won by a representative of the Royal Pavilion and Museums Foundation.
So after a gap of nearly 200 years the King’s piano will return home!
