BROADWOOD FORTEGRAND 1798

You are  a person of substance in the late 18th century.  Your wife manages the house and servants and your daughter studies French and Music.  Since you can afford it you have bought a 7ft 6in Broadwood Fortegrand, similar to the instruments the great Romantics would be composing on.

The fortegrand we offered in the September 2015 sale was lovingly restored by the late Donald Adcock and therefore plays just as it would have done in 1798.

Lot 70 Broadwood (c1798)

Property of the late Mary, Lady Verney.  Hammer Price £12,500
